Need Help with Google Apps?

The University provides many services based on Google now,  such as Google Mail, Calendar, Docs, Sites,  and the recent addition Google+, but do you know how to get the best out of these services? Are there features you aren't sure about? Did you know that Google Sites can be used to quickly create a public or closed membership website for publishing or sharing information?  Or that Google+ is an opt-in service that can be used for video conferencing and communicating with your circles of contacts?

CiCS is running a weekly drop-in session throughout February to help staff get the most from Google services or to just find out what it all means. A number of staff from CiCS will be available and happy to answer any queries you may have, so if you have any questions about any University services provided by Google just pop along and ask. Coffee and tea will be on offer during the sessions.

Alternatively, if you would like to just see how things work you can ask for a demo of Google Sites, Google Docs or Google Web Forms for example.

Drop-In sessions take place every Monday throughout February in Hicks Building room K17. It is very flexible: you can turn up any time between 2:00 and 3:30pm; ask your question; leave when you are ready.
